JOB EAGLE FOR CLAUDE — SETUP GUIDE Version 2.2.0. Free workflow; Claude account costs and limits apply. MAIN ROUTE: UPLOAD THE ZIP TO A NEW CLAUDE CHAT 1. Download Job-Eagle-Claude-2.2.0.zip. Keep it zipped. 2. Open Claude and start a new regular chat in your own account. 3. Click the + or attachment button beside the message box. Attach Job-Eagle-Claude-2.2.0.zip, not the website deployment ZIP. Do not upload it to Project knowledge or Settings for this route. 4. Paste this message and send: Open the attached Job Eagle ZIP and read job-eagle/SKILL.md and the supporting references needed for my request. Use the included resume template when creating resume files. Follow the Job Eagle workflow in this chat, starting with my experience and helping improve my resume or build one from scratch. Ask one short, targeted question at a time. Use only my own information, confirm uncertain facts, and do not invent qualifications. If you cannot open or read the ZIP, tell me clearly. Automated email sending is in beta testing and not available yet. 5. Share your experience or attach your own resume. Continue in that chat. 6. To check file access, ask: Which instruction file did you read from the ZIP? Quote one short sentence from it. 7. Download your resume, tracker and progress file after meaningful changes. For a new chat, attach the package and your latest checkpoint and tracker again. Direct ZIP upload worked in an early-user Claude chat test. Available tools, plans and organization restrictions vary. This follows the workflow in the conversation; it does not permanently install a Skill. IF CLAUDE CANNOT OPEN THE ZIP Enable code execution and file creation if available, then retry. Otherwise unzip it: Windows right-click → Extract All; Mac double-click. Open job-eagle → assets. Attach job-eagle-project-instructions.txt and resume-template.docx to a new regular chat. Ask Claude to read the instructions, use the template and start with your experience, one short question at a time. OPTIONAL: SAVE THE WORKFLOW IN A PROJECT Upload those same two extracted files to your own Project’s files/knowledge area, not the ZIP or folder. In Project instructions, tell Claude to follow job-eagle-project-instructions.txt and use resume-template.docx. Add the latest progress file and tracker yourself; generated downloads do not automatically replace Project uploads. RESUME DOWNLOADS Editable resume (.docx): Open in Word or Google Docs to make changes. Ready-to-send resume (.pdf): Use for applications and employer outreach. Both should contain the same reviewed content. Missing facts or formats must be explained. OPTIONAL, SEPARATE ROUTE: CLAUDE SKILL INSTALLATION The Skill installer accepts the ORIGINAL ZIP. Enable Code execution and file creation, open Customize → Skills → + → Create skill → Upload a skill, upload Job-Eagle-Claude-2.2.0.zip, and enable Job Eagle. Start a new chat. If restricted, use the extracted Project/chat files above. Automated email sending is in beta testing and not available yet. Review drafts, attach your actual resume PDF and send manually. Confirm completed sends and applications to update your tracker. A direct inquiry does not establish a vacancy or guarantee a reply. Web research and generated files require available tools. Without them, supply postings and use copyable drafts; Job Eagle must not invent verification or claim nonexistent files. Memory is optional. Relevant accessible job-related context can help, but remembered facts need checking. The package contains no private creator resume or search history and has no Job Eagle backend receiving your information. Your AI provider’s policies, account/organization controls and explicit sharing govern access. Tell it if you prefer large companies or posted jobs only. Future shortlists adapt to your stated preferences, repeated choices and feedback. Employer size alone does not establish pay, sponsorship, mentoring or an opening. FIRST: UNDERSTAND THE PERSON Start with supplied experience and strengthen resume/application content before detailed job preferences or employer-size steering. Ask one short targeted question at a time; accept a few words and clarify only what is needed. Show useful wording improvements early. ADAPT THE PROCESS Steps are defaults, not a fixed questionnaire. Start at the user’s actual task, skip already-completed or irrelevant stages, and change questions, pace, role suggestions and draft voice based on confirmed context and feedback. Keep facts accurate and submissions user-controlled. FACTS, MATCHES AND CONTINUATION Job Eagle should preserve dates, tense, frequency and actual skill level; ask for missing start dates; flag unknown job requirements; and distinguish created downloads from confirmed saved versions. Bring your latest progress file and tracker back to continue without repeating intake. Guided search pacing: Learn your experience, interests and learning goals before the first search, one question at a time. Review at least two small batches of 2–3 companies, then expand later searches as the direction becomes clear. The first company batch should include a tracker and progress file; every company should have a verified email or direct application/contact route, with missing emails stated clearly.
