I’m Thaddeus, a mechanical engineering student at CU Boulder. Job Eagle started with me trying to find myself an internship. I wasn’t planning to build a product or start a business—I just wanted to figure out where to look, how to explain what I could offer, and how to keep the whole search organized.
As I worked through it, I started putting together a process: improving my resume, finding companies that interested me, writing personal outreach, and tracking responses and follow-ups. Then a friend asked if I could send them my process so they could use it for their own search.
That question was what got me thinking about making it something other people could use. What made sense in my own conversations needed clearer instructions and a way to adapt to someone else’s experience and goals. As I worked on that, it gradually became Job Eagle.
The idea is still rooted in what I wanted for myself: a more personal, proactive job search. Posted openings are one route, but there are also companies worth approaching directly. Job Eagle helps you explore both, understand what you can contribute, and prepare a thoughtful introduction.
You don’t need a polished resume or your whole career figured out to start. A stronger resume, a personal pitch, and a clear next step. Job Eagle guides you through the search in your own AI account, building on the information you choose to share.
It’s currently free, and I’m asking early users to help me understand what’s useful, what’s confusing, and what needs improving. I’m also developing a standalone web app to make the process easier to access.
Job Eagle can’t promise you a job. My goal is to help you feel less lost in the search, recognize the value of your experience, and take the next step with something you’re confident putting your name on.
